Hello! I’m Gavin Sharp, a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati. I am deeply passionate about integrating cutting-edge design with practical sustainability. My journey in architecture, enriched with a Masters and Bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati, has been complemented by minors in Entrepreneurship and Family Business. I aim to use this unique perspective of business and architecture on my journey to establish an architectural practice of my own.
My professional path has been diverse, spanning architectural design at Fogarty Finger in NYC to leading 3D scanning projects at 720 3D Laser Scanning. At Fogarty Finger, I crafted comprehensive plans for a variety of building types as well as a wide variety of architectural services at 720 Scanning. This journey also included hands-on construction and renovation work, enhancing my understanding of design from conception to execution. As a Graduate Assistant, I teach a group of roughly twenty students where I share my knowledge of various software and design techniques. I also hope to further my commitment to education, academia, and professional growth.
I’m also a certified drone pilot, a skill that complements my architecture and design work. Drones allow me to capture unique aerial perspectives and integrate them into my projects for enhanced visualization and planning. I also use them for freelance work in various locations.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I’m an avid wake surfer, fisherman, pickleball, and dog enthusiast. I use my hobbies to provide a well-rounded balance in my life with the hope of positively influencing my creative process and design philosophy.
